United States President Donald Trump stated that recovering Iran's enriched uranium reserves will require a "long and difficult process," while their location still remains unclear following US airstrikes carried out in June 2025.

In a reaction published on the Truth Social platform, Trump stressed that the operation codenamed "Midnight Hammer" has led to the complete destruction of Iran's main nuclear facilities.

"Operation 'Midnight Hammer' resulted in the complete and total destruction of Iran's nuclear dust facilities and therefore its extraction will be a long and difficult process," he said.
