Belgium surprised everyone, easily winning against the hosts. The dominance was evident from the start of the first half, as Belgium booked two goals for each faction.

De Ketelar scored twice in the first half, cancelling out Tillman's free kick, which temporarily restored the tie.

Vanaken's goal, assisted by De Ketelar in the 57th minute, turned the USA's qualification into an impossible mission. Lukaku, meanwhile, sealed the victory with a goal in the 93rd minute.

Belgium, who have been a disappointment so far, can now be confirmed as having exceeded expectations. The quarter-final with Spain will be played on July 10th from 21:00.
