Turkish actress Beren Saat, known to the Albanian public for her role in the series Fatmagyl or in Forbidden Love as Bihter or Suleiman the Magnificent as Sultana Kosem, has reportedly been detained by Turkish authorities as part of a large-scale operation against drugs and prostitution. According to information published by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 22 people were arrested during the operation, while five others are still being sought.

Among those detained are several well-known names from the entertainment world in Turkey. Preliminary investigations are related to suspicions of involvement in activities related to narcotics and prostitution, while authorities are continuing verifications of the role of each of the suspects.

During searches at various homes and addresses, anti-drug teams have seized narcotic substances and materials suspected of being used for their trafficking and distribution. Turkish authorities say that legal proceedings are still ongoing and that investigations will continue to fully unravel the case.
