Two people have been arrested by the Police in Lezha and Kurbin, suspected of having committed violence against their family members. During searches in their homes, the Police seized firearms, ammunition and explosives.
In Lezha, 33-year-old Mark Përdoda, a resident of Lezha, was arrested in flagrante delicto, suspected of having exercised physical and psychological violence against his brother's wife.
During the search of his apartment, officers found and seized 5 TNT cartridges, a rifle and combat ammunition.
Meanwhile, 48-year-old Gentjan Koprelli, a resident of Mamurras, was arrested in Kurbin, suspected of having exercised psychological violence against his father.
During the search of Koprelli's apartment, the police found a concealed automatic rifle with a loaded cartridge and combat ammunition.
The police announced that the arrests were made following reports of cases of domestic violence and following rapid operational actions by the Lezha and Kurbin Police structures.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action.

As a result of rapid operational actions carried out by the Lezha and Kurbin Police, following calls about domestic violence, the following citizens were arrested:

During the search of his apartment, 1 firearm (automatic), with a loaded cartridge, and combat ammunition were found hidden.
The procedural materials were referred to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action.
