Lezha Police, in cooperation with the Kukës Police, has finalized the police operation codenamed "Coordination", solving two cases of theft that occurred at gas stations in the territory of Kukës and Lezha.

As a result of intensive investigations, two citizens suspected of being the perpetrators of the thefts have been identified and declared wanted, specifically EN, alias E. Ll., 30 years old, and AL, 23 years old, both residents of Mamurras. According to the Police, they are suspected of having stolen sums of money, namely the daily turnover, as well as a quantity of oil, by threatening fuel employees with a toy pistol.

The events occurred at around 21:15 on January 21, 2026 and around 00:30 on January 22, 2026, on the "Milot-Morinë" highway and on the "Lezhë-Shkodër" road axis.

During the search conducted at the apartment of citizen AL, the Police services seized, as material evidence, a toy pistol, which is suspected to have been used to threaten employees during the thefts.

The police are continuing their intensive work to capture the two wanted citizens, while the procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
