The "cold war" between UEFA and FIFA is never-ending, with the European football government not content with just the fact that FIFA withdrew from their project to sell, privatize, part of the World Cup organizing rights, but now with Ceferin's "blessing", UEFA is also seeking the "head" of Gianni Infantino.

Through a public response, UEFA clarified that their position, that of the member federations, does not change, the boycott of tournaments organized by FIFA remains in force as long as Gianni Infantino is at the head of FIFA: "We have lost confidence in Infantino's presidency", this is the essence that UEFA continues to remain loyal to.

Recently, the Albanian Football Federation also reacted by publishing an official letter sent to the FIFA Secretary General, through which it informs him of the revocation of its support for the candidacy of Mr. Gianni Infantino for a new four-year mandate as FIFA President. The letter signed by the President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, states that, after further internal consultations and a careful review of the situation, the Albanian Football Federation has decided to withdraw the support previously given for Infantino's candidacy. This decision comes in the wake of recent developments in international football and the positions expressed by the European federations regarding the FIFA governance processes.
