DP leader Sali Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of corruption.

He also denounced, bringing to attention the case of Ergys Agas, saying that in the name of Suel Çela and the Troplini, he dismisses ministers one after another. Berisha also accused the government of links to crime.

"Drug barons build the towers, but Albanians take the roads of the world. Ergys Agasi, on behalf of Suel Celë and the Troplins, dismisses ministers one after another. You are witnessing that in the last 4 months the messages that have come from the US are about the fight against drug cartels and their connections with drugs," he said.

Berisha also underlined that Prime Minister Edi Rama turned the elections into a sham.

"The ruling party cannot have any other name than a party of crime. It has grown with the blood of honest Albanians. It has survived the most savage oppression of Albanians. And today it steals from Albanians and is destroying its own nation. In the dictatorship of Enver Hoxha, votes were cast with tambourines and drums, terror was sown. But where are we today? Today, again, in a dictatorship that is different from before. This turns pluralism into a facade. Edi Rama turned the elections into a farce. Today, our political force is in a difficult moment, but one that is decisive for the fate of Albania and Albanians. On the one hand, this enemy of the free vote does not make elections, or makes them a farce," he said.
