Russia is delaying the process of exchanging 1,000 prisoners for each side, envisaged in the agreement announced by US President Donald Trump on May 8.
The accusation was made by the People's Advocate of Ukraine, Dmytro Lubinets, according to reports by the UNIAN agency.
Lubinets stated that the Ukrainian side has already submitted lists of names for the prisoner exchange, but Moscow is slowing down the process.
"Contacts have not stopped, but the process has slowed down. Even if an agreement is reached with the Russians, you can never be 100% sure that they will respect it," he said.
According to him, negotiations between the parties continue every day, while work on the implementation of the agreement has not been interrupted. However, Ukrainian authorities remain skeptical about the full implementation of the commitments by Russia.
