The investigative show 'Tak Fak' was stopped this Wednesday due to a complaint received by the editorial office from citizen Arben Ziu, a resident of Durrës, who for several years has had an ongoing problem with a building next to the building where he lives.

A building that was initially built without a permit and then was provided with an ownership certificate and then became two-story, but which was built in a public space.

A building that was built over an existing bunker, which today has become a serious concern for the community of residents of this neighborhood located very close to the city center of Durrës.

According to him, although dozens of complaints have been made to the Municipality and the IMT, the institutions have stated that the building had a building permit.

Arben Ziu states that the construction has come very close to the dividing wall, not respecting the legal distance of 2.5 meters.

The biggest problem, according to him, is the humidity and the damage to the apartment whenever it rains. He claims that the dome covering a former shelter was destroyed during the construction of the perimeter wall, which caused water to seep into the open canal and cause damage to the apartment.

There is also a professional expertise for the damages. In the meantime, the building has been provided with a certificate of ownership, has been sold and the owner has left the country.

The show emphasized that the citizen is at least demanding the demolition of the stairs of the building, as there is a demolition order from the IMT for them, which has not been implemented. According to him, this would restore the legal distance and enable the reconstruction of the bunker, avoiding problems with humidity.
