Valter Lleshi, who was found murdered today in his vehicle in the village of Shkorret, Mirdita, is suspected of having been implicated in the murder of Anton Keli in Rrëshen in 2020, an event that was at the time linked to revenge for disrupting drug deals.

It is also reported that 45-year-old Valter Lleshi worked as a truck driver for a company that extracts inert materials from the Mat River, where on March 15 of this year, a quantity of explosive material was placed in the vehicle he was working with.

At that time, Lleshi escaped the assassination attempt, while this Monday, still unidentified people ambushed him while he was on his way to work.
