At least seven passengers died when a bus burst into flames in the early hours of the morning in Vietnam, authorities confirmed.

The bus was traveling from Lam Dong province to Ho Chi Minh City when the fire broke out, trapping many of the passengers in the 24-seater vehicle, the Ministry of Public Security said.
Five other passengers were injured, according to state media.

Police are investigating the cause of the vehicle fire.
