During a White House event to reduce healthcare costs, US President Donald Trump shared the touching story of a 2-year-old child who, according to attendees, managed to restore his hearing after medical treatment.

The little one, Travis Smith, was present in the Oval Office in the arms of his mother, Sierra Smith. He was born completely deaf, but after a combination of treatment and surgery, he is said to have regained his ability to hear.

During his speech, Trump described the case as "impressive," noting that the child can now hear his mother say "I love you." The boy's mother said that after the treatment, he has begun to respond to sounds and music, and even shows interest in dancing and musical instruments.

The most special moment of the event was when the little one started moving freely in the Oval Office, attracting everyone's attention, and then lay down on the carpet for a few seconds. The footage went viral, and the White House published it with a simple caption: "Almost Friday."
