The former director of AKSHI, Mirlinda Karçanaj, appeared before SPAK today.
As can be seen from the footage, Karçanaj, against whom a 'compulsory appearance' measure has been imposed for the scandal at the ANA, has entered the premises of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, together with her lawyer.
We recall that she was under house arrest, but the Supreme Court eased her security measure, leaving her under obligation to appear. Karçanaj is among the 8 defendants in the scandal with the AKSHI tenders, who are accused of being part of a structured criminal group, manipulating tender procedures, favoring companies and exerting pressure on competing operators.
They were charged with the following criminal offenses: illegal competition through violence, illegal deprivation of liberty, violation of equality in tenders, organized criminal group, and money laundering.
