The club's president, Lazer Matija, has confirmed the drastic decision to personally resign from his role, while the future leader of the women's team remains to be learned:

"Taking the lead from the recent events and the boys' match in Elbasan. My statement about what happened there has been taken for granted, as if I am against the strategy of the Albanian Football Association, but it is not true. Before being the president of the regional association, I was the president of the women's Vllaznia. On the one hand, it is a relief for me to leave this position, but on the other hand, it is also a justification for the federation that the person at the top should be a leading figure who receives instructions. Thinking about many things, I can ask for both elections and the vote of confidence of the association and I am convinced that I will get it 100%, I did it to serve the city, that I did it for a salary, to contribute until the moment of the elections, to be a person who works even better than me. For some time now, I have been speaking out about some things in Albanian football, I am not a transit in football, I have been at the top here for 30 years, contributing, I have served this sport. I have I was critical, but I could have remained silent. I have expressed them in different ways, we had debates about the "Final Four" which was a failure. Anila Basha was not a portrait that could be the face of women, I have opposed them a lot. I have had objections to the merger of women's football clubs. I have seen the wrong strategy, girls' football in Shkodra has been persecuted, they have taken female footballers to the National Team and left them on the bench. I have had debates about refereeing in girls' football, they wanted to take away our championship, but they did not succeed thanks to work and sacrifice. I want these honest Shkodra people who love Vllaznia and will take it even higher, we have many things to say but for the moment they are enough.
