Another case of drug distribution has been cracked in the city of Vlora, where two teenagers are suspected of supplying drugs to their peers.

The operation was carried out by the services of the Special Force "Eagle", within the framework of increased controls to prevent and crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics. Based on operational information, the officers carried out controls in several areas of the city and on the main axes.

Yesterday evening, in the "Pavarësia" neighborhood, two minors suspected of being drug dealers were stopped and searched. During the physical search of the 17-year-old with the initials DM, the police found 10 doses wrapped in plastic bags, suspected of being cocaine, in his bag and in the headphone holder. Also, a quantity of cannabis wrapped in aluminum foil was seized in his pocket.

All narcotics were seized as material evidence.

At the conclusion of the procedural actions, the Narcotics Investigation specialists at the Vlora Local Police Directorate arrested the 17-year-old in flagrante delicto, while the 16-year-old who was with him was released.

The materials were passed to the Vlora Prosecutor's Office for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", while investigations continue to discover whether the minors are part of a wider distribution network.
