While waiting to find out who will be the coach of the representative team, the Albanian Football Federation made the first friendly match for the month of June official. Through a post on social networks, the FSHF announced that on June 6, at 20:00, the friendly match between Albania and Luxembourg will be played at “Air Albania”.
This is only the first test, as the Albanian Football Federation added in its response to the media that another friendly test will be confirmed in the future. In his appearance to the media a few days ago, the president of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, confirmed that they are still waiting for a response from Sylvinho, whether they will continue together, whether they will reach an agreement to renew the current contract which ends in July.

Duka was clear as he added that the new coach, whether Sylvinho or not, will be decided before the June friendlies. The Albanian Football Association does not want to make the same mistake as with Edy Reja by keeping the Italian until the end of his contract, while Sylvinho was forced to play his first challenge in an official, qualifying match, like the one against Poland in Warsaw.
