A few meters from the Special Court in The Hague, hundreds of Albanians gathered this evening in support of the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, on the eve of the announcement of the verdict.
An activity called "Waiting Hour" was also held in The Hague, marking the final moments before the announcement of the verdict for Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi.
Citizens from Kosovo and the diaspora have gathered near the Special Court to express their support for the former KLA leaders, while the atmosphere in The Hague remains charged with emotions.
Tomorrow, starting at 10:00, a hearing will be held to announce the first-instance verdict against Thaçi, Veseli, Krasniqi and Selim, after a long court process in The Hague.
The verdict is expected to be followed with great attention in Kosovo, Albania, and among the families, supporters, and associates of the four former KLA leaders.
