The June of protests, besides the citizen revolt and the continuous calls for the removal of the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama, will be remembered for the banners that filled the square in front of the Prime Minister's Office, which were the most distinctive detail of the movement.

While thousands of citizens have filled the square for 13 days to then continue marching through the main streets of the capital, what goes viral on the internet and gives more substance to the protest are the meme-banners that hit hard with their messages.

"We are living in a dictatorship", "The color pink brought you to power, pink brings you down", "All the roads of the sick lead to the private sector", "The agent was found, Zegjineja!", "There is no question of saving this time", "Honor for immigrants, respect for sacrifice, justice for labor", "Albania is not for sale", "I want the Albania that Edi shows me on TV, but I live in Zegjineja's", says some of today's banners, while the calls are against the entire old political caste.
