Mundwsia party MP Erald Kapri has stated that opposition to the project in Zvërnec is not a stance against foreign investment, but against the way in which, according to him, laws and procedures are being implemented by the government.
Speaking about the civic protest in Tirana, Kapri emphasized that no one is against development or foreign investors.
"Can anyone be against Kushner's investment? He is an honorable man. I'm not saying we are against development and foreign investment, but he enforces the government's rules and laws," he said.
Kapri indicated that he had participated in the protest as an ordinary citizen, without political symbols or logos, praising the organizers' decision to keep the rally away from party affiliations.
According to him, activists and participants have acted correctly by demanding that the protest focus on the cause and not on political parties.
