Milan is experiencing the most difficult situation of the season. The defeat against Atalanta on Sunday was the second in a row for the red and whites, who now see their seasonal objective, that of participating in the Champions League next season, significantly jeopardized. A demotivated team, without ideas, with key players who are completely out of shape, but what's worse is the red and white fans who have openly come out against the club's top management, demanding their removal as the main responsible for the situation that their beloved team is going through.
If Milan fail to play in the Champions League next season, it would be a huge failure, which would most likely be accompanied by a revolution in the "devil's house". However, Milan remains in 4th place with 67 points, the same as Roma, and the objective according to coach Allegri is to win the remaining two matches against Genoa and Cagliari.
"Worried? It's pointless to talk about what has happened so far, because we can't change it anymore. We just have to have a good week of work and prepare as best we can for the challenge against Genoa, which could be decisive in the race for the Champions League. No one would have expected this difficult moment. I imagined that such a period would come during the season, but now we have to face it with a sense of responsibility.
Meanwhile, the Sports Director, Igli Tare, expressed his concern about the situation Milan is going through:
"It is essential to remain calm and clear-headed. We accept the criticism, because it is fair, but now we have to react. Maybe we can analyze everything with a few days of concentration, getting together a little earlier. In the last matches, the tension and the right concentration have been missing. We cannot hide, we have to take our responsibilities. However, the fate is still in our hands. We have to analyze what has happened over the last six weeks and focus on continuity."
