Among the many compatriots in the diaspora who have joined the massive protest against the government, a woman who came especially from Switzerland has taken the floor to express the pain of immigrants and their inability to return to their homeland.

She underlined that the lack of opportunities and meritocracy is making life in Albania more difficult every day, calling for a nationwide response:

"Here it seems as if the end of the Albanian nation is approaching. We must all move without stopping. Here we have no way to turn back, there is no opportunity, there is no meritocracy, it is getting worse every day."

With a heartfelt message, she called for civic resistance to continue until the radical change the country deserves is realized:

"With great pain we say that we cannot go back. This revolt must make Albania what it should be!"
