After Durrës, member of the DP Presidency, Ervin Salianji, continued meetings with Democratic Party structures in the city of Gjirokastra.
As stated at the beginning of his speech, Salianji said that Albanians are seeking real change that only the Democratic Party can bring about.
The former Democratic MP said that it is difficult for a political party to win if it does not change the political language of its leadership.
"We must defeat Edi Rama and we can defeat him. But we cannot sit around 7 months after the elections to warm our seats and not talk about some problems. The internal problem is unsolved. Nothing has changed in this period. For years we have been a party that reacts, but a party that remembers the past often seems to be.
The country needs new energy and people who have won the vote of confidence of the citizens. It is difficult for a political party to win without having the truth and morality with it and this is our truth. Edi Rama cannot win this. It is difficult for a political party to win if it does not change the political language of leadership. Albanians are looking for real change that only the DP can bring,” he said.
