Prime Minister Edi Rama showed details of the project on the Zvërnec coast. During the meeting of the socialist parliamentary group, Rama said that this project started 3 years ago.
The head of government emphasized that it was Jared Kushner who promoted the project. "As we have said; for the Zvërnec project, you have to look at the properties and the owners, since we do not have state land there. The pieces that could be state are completely negligible for your ambition. This is the beginning of 2023. You know who the people interested are because the whole world knows. Here I want to tell you something, the whole world is talking about this project because of the man who promoted the project, Kushner," said Rama.
"The project started 3 years ago. It started as an interest together with Sazani. Our stance from the first day has been; Sazani is public land. It has been a long-standing desire and ambition, also of other prime ministers, to turn it into something touristic. We said; we are ready to work with you, but that land is not for sale. We want the Albanian state to be a party, a partner. You consider your prime minister a seller and corrupt. The sellers made Albania 1 euro and took the share. They did not give the state the share. As we have said; for the Zvërnec project, you should look at the properties and owners, since we do not have state land there. The pieces that could be state are completely negligible for your ambition. This is the beginning of 2023. You know who the interested people are because the whole world knows. Here I want to tell you something, the whole world is talking about this project because of the man who promoted the project, Kushner. But the world has accounts for washed and has its own wars to fight.
