A tragic incident has occurred at Denver Airport in the United States. A Frontier Airlines plane has killed a person on the runway after it crossed a security fence, a moment that was recorded on air traffic control audio.
"We just hit someone," the pilot tells the control tower after aborting the takeoff of Flight 4345. "We have an engine fire," the BBC reports.
All 224 passengers on board were evacuated by emergency slide as a precaution.
"We are deeply saddened by this event," the airline said in a statement.
