From today's media conference, DP leader Sali Berisha called on all citizens to be in front of Parliament on the day when the latter will vote on lifting Belinda Balluku's immunity.
He stated that citizens must act to protect the rule of law, as the majority's decision is destroying justice.
Berisha: Edi Rama, to strong demands from our main partners, from the European Commission, not to obstruct justice, responded with an open article signed together with his brother Vučić, his boss, telling the Europeans that we do not need EU integration. He reaches this act only to protect his crimes and criminal assets.
But Edi Rama is a person, he is the prime minister, of course, there is also a circle that are members of his criminal organization, but Albanians will never allow their fate to be trampled on this time as it was trampled on by Enver Hoxha for 46 years. Hence my invitation to all Albanian citizens, on the day the request will be presented to parliament, to all come before parliament to defend the Constitution, the law, national dignity.
To protect the legal state, the state of law. With his decision, in this way as he has acted, he de facto annihilates justice. No one supports him on this path. But no one will come to remove him from the prime minister's office. It is our duty, it is our mission, the mission of Albanian citizens to never accept that the doors of Europe be closed to them by a chief thief of the nation in the history of Albania.
From an enemy of Albanians. Therefore, today more than ever, we need to unite against this extraordinary danger to our destiny, to our future. As long as the EU is the best future and the greatest destiny of Albanians is membership in the EU. A person can never close our doors for personal interests. There is no worse enemy than the one who tries to do this to us. And this is Edi Rama.
