Activist Sidorela Vatnikaj, in her speech before the Prime Minister's Office, said that for 42 days, protesters have shown that the Albanian people do not deserve Rama as prime minister and Belinda Balluku as his deputy.
She said that for 36 years they had been told that Albanians are not organized and are not civilized, but they were not overthrown in 42 days.

"In 36 years they worked to teach us that we are an uncivilized people who cannot form a state, who cannot revolt and cannot come together. For 36 years they tortured us, left us without education and called us criminals. What happened was overturned in 42 days, Albanian society came out and took to the streets in solidarity, we showed that not every people deserves the government it has, Albanian society does not deserve Edi Rama as prime minister and Belinda Balluku as deputy prime minister. In 42 days we have shown that we know how to articulate ourselves and that we can create a new Albania without thieves at the head of state.

"They thought the World Cup would defeat us, the heat and that our vacations are more expensive than democracy, but we are demanding like the first day: Rama resigns," she said.
