Doctor Ermal Pashaj, from the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, has criticized the government for the way it is reacting to the citizens' dissatisfaction. According to him, Albanians are not seeking privileges, but dignity and concrete solutions to their problems.
"Even though we are in the middle of Europe, we should have a European reaction from the government. Our Prime Minister has been trying to get into our shoes for some time, to get our narrative, but he is not succeeding. He is putting out useless articles. This facade no longer meets our daily needs. It seems as if we are asking for who knows what, but we are asking for our dignity. I have the impression that the Prime Minister has no idea where he falls and where he can imagine himself," said the doctor.
Pashaj said that concrete solutions must be found and warned that division among citizens should not be allowed.
"We must provide solutions. A division has been introduced among us. It should not happen. We must react to the noose around our throats that the government is putting on us. Albanian legislation is open to application. Solutions come from dissatisfaction. Education is the answer," Pashaj asserted.
Referring to the prime minister's recent statements on the use of artificial intelligence in schools, the doctor described this as another promise that, according to him, does not address the real problems of citizens.
"A few days ago the prime minister said that artificial intelligence would be introduced in schools! What do you mean by that? You can't do this to Albanians. I don't eat these hot potatoes for alms. You throw me a bone, but no! We saw it when you launched the besa. Keep notes with blank notebooks. These empty things don't drink water anymore," he said.
