Analyst Edvin Kulluri has described the majoritarian intervention in the Criminal Code as an autocracy that risks the country returning to the years of chaos, in 1991 and 1996.
Invited to the show "Studio 24", Kulluri said that Rama is using Parliament and the Criminal Code to protect Belinda Balluku and himself.
"There is great intransigence. The behavior of the SP is autocratic. I am the state, this judges the judges of the CC. The only empty-headed person is this one who does not understand any of this. What did Mr. Costa say to him in Brussels at the informal dinner, do you know? What they said to him before he even got on the plane, that he should remove his immunity," said Kulluri.
Edvin Kulluri: The amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code will be approved 3 days before the Code is approved. Do you understand what this is doing, who is this kidding?
This gentleman is using Parliament, the Criminal Code to protect Belinda Balluku and himself. He says "L'état c'est moi". With this mindset, he ends up in prison. Either we will continue on the democratic path, or we will return to 1996. He goes so far as to judge the judges of the Constitutional Court. Who is this person who judges them? He goes out and manipulates public opinion. Today he does not even accept the suspension, let alone the lifting of immunity. He is running away to prison with this mindset that he has. This country will either be placed on the democratic path or we will return to 91 and 96. There is great intransigence. The behavior of the SP is autocratic. I am the state, this person judges the judges of the Constitutional Court. The only empty-headed person is this person who does not understand any of this.
