The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, used the same justification regarding the Balluku case, as he responded to a citizen's question about why he does not publish the file of former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

Berisha, in a conversation with citizens, emphasized that the members of the Mandates and Immunity Council had signed before SPAK prosecutors to maintain investigative secrecy. He said that the DP is protecting the witnesses in this case, by not making the data public.

"The members of the Immunity Council have signed a statement before the prosecutors in which they have pledged to maintain secrecy. On the one hand, it surprises me that they ask us to respect justice and on the other hand, to violate justice. There are repentant witnesses," Berisha said.
