The Minister of Interior, Besfort Lamallari, in a media appearance, was asked about the possibility of another amnesty for the surrender of illegal weapons for all those citizens who may have such.
The Minister emphasized that there is still no such initiative for a second amnesty, while adding that a well-thought-out plan is needed.
"This cannot be a matter of a campaign on the spot, it must be a well-thought-out plan. We have discussed the possibility of the need for an amnesty. There is no such discussion, no concrete initiative. We are in the phase of increasing the capacities of the State Police and customs," he said.
