During a conversation with followers on social media, DP leader Sali Berisha was asked by a young man when the DP would be "cleansed" of those who, as he put it, do not even receive 1 votes.

Another "teasing" question was whether the protests on the Boulevard with a walk do not bring any benefit to the opposition and the DP and whether the scenario should be changed.

Berisha's response was that renewing the DP is a fair thesis, but he added that 40% of the list of MPs are new figures.

Regarding the protests, Berisha said that thanks to them, internationals became aware of the government's corruption.

Sali Berisha : You are a witness to the most unimaginable efforts that were made to control the opposition by Edi Rama, so that Albania would not have a real opposition. You are a witness to the ordeal that the DP went through just to be the real opposition of the Albanians and they achieved this. Secondly, you can say that the DP should be renewed. Right. Over 40% of the list of deputies is renewed. Propaganda is one side, reality is the other side.

If you look at the narco-government, I assure you that in the DP only one of its personalities has all the expertise that Edi Rama's criminal organization has combined. The DP has incomparable personalities compared to this government of ignorant people who steal from morning to night. Ministers do not go to television studios, they do not take questions from journalists. They recite what Edi Rama says.

Dear student, you should not compare the incomparable. The protests we have made have had their major effect in the world. It is these protests that have resonated in the chancelleries of the world that Albanians have risen up against the corruption of Lubi Balluku and Edi Rams. Imagine without these protests what we Albanians would look like, a nation oppressed by corruption. These protests defended the dignity of the Albanian nation.
