Czech tennis player Linda Noskova was declared the winner of the Wimbledon grand slam for 2026. In the final of the most important grass-court tournament, played in London, she defeated her compatriot Karolina Muchova 2-1 (6-2, 5-7, 6-3).

This is the first triumph for the 21-year-old tennis player in a major tournament, precisely in her first final, and she did not disappoint. Although Muchova competed, she could not stop the momentum of her compatriot, who was more persistent in the game. A match that could have ended earlier for Noskova, who in the second set wasted 5 chances to win the match, but then made a mistake.

Muchova failed to capitalize on the opportunity she was given and surrendered in the third set. Noskova becomes the 10th tennis player to win Wimbledon in the last 10 years, which shows that this tournament is giving surprises every year. Meanwhile, Muchova seems unable to make it to the final, losing the second of her career.
