Much more dramatic was the other semifinal, where Karolina Muchova triumphed after a tough battle against American Coco Gauff. Muchova won with a score of 2-1 in sets (6-1, 1-6, 7-6), in a challenge with high tempo and emotions until the end. After a first set dominated by the Czech and a strong reaction by Gauff in the second, everything was decided in the third set, where the balance continued until the “tie-break”. There Muchova showed more composure and experience, securing the victory and passage to the final.

Now, attention is focused on the final, where Muchova and Noskova will write a new page in Wimbledon history, with the Czech Republic guaranteed to be the new champion of the tournament.
