A protester, during his speech in front of the Prime Minister's Office, put youth at the center of his message, emphasizing that without young people there can be no future for Albania. "Without youth, there is no Albania. They are the reason our country must overcome these difficulties," he said.

According to the protester, young Albanians are informed and understand the importance of independent institutions for the future of the country. “Our youth are not uninformed. They know that without the independence of the judiciary there is no rule of law or a genuine, developmental economy,” he declared. He warned that, in the absence of these principles, democracy risks being deformed.

“Without these, democracy risks becoming what it is today, a hybrid between oligarchy and autocracy,” the protester said. He went on to emphasize that the citizens’ struggle should not be limited to protests, but to the determination to stay in Albania and demand change.

“Our battle is not just to protest, but to have the courage to stay. The question is: will we build the future here, or will we go somewhere else?”, he said. In the end, the protester said that he remains optimistic and believes that the right path is for young people to choose to stay and build the future in their country. “I think as an optimist that the right path is for us to stay,” he concluded.
