The women's national team is ready for tomorrow's challenge against the Czech Republic, valid for the 2027 World Cup qualifiers. The red and black team held its official training session this afternoon at the match stadium, "FK Viktoria Žižkov", under the guidance of the technical staff, thus concluding preparations for the important match in Prague.
In a utterance for AFF.org, coach Armir Grima spoke about tomorrow's opponent and the team's objectives.
"It's a difficult match. We know the Czech team, we know the quality elements it has. We will try to face them in the best possible way. It is very important to work psychologically for this opponent and for the girls to be calm in order to face them successfully. It is not an opponent we cannot overcome. We will do our best, until the last minute, to get a positive result," said coach Grima, who also commented on the condition of the red and black team and its readiness for the match.
"We have our injuries and problems, however, I believe the girls who will play are in optimal shape and we intend to get the most out of them. They are charged, because playing for the Albanian jersey is no joke. You represent a nation, the red and black colors. We even need to 'lower the charge a little'. I hope we get a result and a dignified game tomorrow against this strong team", - he underlined for AFF.org coach Armir Grima.
The Czech Republic - Albania match will be played tomorrow, at 17:30, at the "FK Viktoria Žižkov" stadium, in Prague and is valid for the 2027 Women's World Cup qualifiers. The match will be broadcast live on FSHF TV.
