Freedom Party MP, Erisa Xhixho, invited to the studio News24, has commented on the recent decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, following his appeal regarding the security measure.

Xixho described the decision as "absurd and unfair," stating that the president of the Freedom Party is not being allowed to meet with family members and MPs.

She said that Meta's arrest resembled a "bandit kidnapping," while raising concerns about the decision-making regarding his appeals for detention, where he has been for more than a year.

She emphasized that this situation constitutes, in her opinion, an unjustified restriction of the rights of Meta, who has also served as President of the Republic.
