Doctor Ermal Pashaj commented on News24 the protest held the day before, focusing on the increased presence of police forces, the arrests of protesters, and the use of eggs during the rally.

Pashaj said that during the protest he had noticed a higher level of security near Parliament, while emphasizing that there was no use of tear gas.

"I would see it in a plan a little further. Yesterday I was in the afternoon, due to my profession. The increased level of security around the Parliament was noticeable. I saw on social networks a police armament. There were more than in previous times, but there was no use of tear gas. Is this an element that should make it more difficult to continue the protest?! At the end of the day, what matters is the cause, which we think is just. Fewer or more numbers of police and protesters will make it more difficult to achieve the cause, because no matter the numbers, the cause is a winner," he said.

Speaking about the arrests, the doctor said that the protesters, according to him, were accompanied by the police even when they were on the sidewalks and without any violence.

"Unlike other times, protesters have been arrested on the sidewalks, without any genesis of violence. Police forces have made arrests that were declared illegal by the court 10 days ago. I try to think about the police narrative. That egg brings nothing more than respect. Protesters were arrested because they had eggs in their hands. The egg is becoming a precedent. I am not surprised that a VKM is being issued to call the egg a "cold weapon". ", added Pashaj.

Pashaj stated that the protest will continue, while also commenting on the diaspora's stance on developments in the country.

"Once Rama cursed the protest, they rushed to attack the numbers. And now they say: we are right. But the protest will continue and the diaspora will join us. The diaspora comes to its own home, the wise must come out and speak. Mr. Rama is trying to take the narrative of the protest and come out on top. I don't think he is sincere.
