The Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, in his speech in the Assembly raised the issue of fuel prices.

Blushi stressed that Albanians today face abusive oil prices and that most MPs do not defend their rights but remain silent. He also called the Transparency Board an extortionist board.

"Today, every MP should be the voice of every Albanian who feels injustice in his pocket. Today, there is no more serious crisis than the abusive price of oil. I want to remind all colleagues that today every Albanian feels disgust as he sees this Assembly that smells of oil coming... the smell of oil is coming because the majority does not protect the public interest, but simply and only the interest of a cartel that in collaboration with Rama has increased costs for every Albanian... The PL parliamentary group has submitted to the Assembly a draft law to reduce the price of oil. You, Speaker, do not put your hand in your pocket to fill your car with oil because they fill your luxurious Mercedes for Albanians. There is no greater crime than silence about a crisis that must be resolved", he said.
