US President Donald Trump has sent a letter to former Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, where, among other things, he praised the cooperation within the Peace Board.
Trump writes that he values Osman as a friend of the US and emphasizes that he looks forward to continuing cooperation in the years to come.
“We have achieved much together in a short period of time—particularly our cooperation within the Peace Board. Kosovo’s participation in this promising new initiative will play an extraordinary role in ending conflicts around the world, while promoting freedom and prosperity for both of our peoples. You are leaving behind an important legacy that will shape the future of your country, the Balkan region, and all of Europe. You have always been a trusted friend and partner of the United States, and I look forward to continuing our cooperation in the years to come,” the letter reads.
