Ilaria Sula's mother, through tears, recounted the last meeting with her daughter, before the 22-year-old's life was cut short by her boyfriend.

In "With an Open Heart" by author and moderator Evis Ahmeti, she revealed that the last meeting was at a party.

"Our last meeting was so beautiful. He kept telling me: Oh, I love you so much."
"You have become very beautiful. Our last meeting was at a party. She was so happy," she said.

Today, the Sula family no longer lives as they used to. They say they are just surviving, finding strength in each other and in their son, but above all, seeking justice for Ilarian. Because for them, the smile has faded.
