The Carabinieri of the city of Cesena have arrested a 23-year-old Albanian, suspected of distributing narcotics. The arrest was carried out during an anti-drug operation near the city's train station, following information that a person on a motorcycle was supplying customers in different areas of Cesena, even delivering drugs to their homes.
During the search, officers discovered 32 doses of cocaine weighing a total of about 17 grams, sophisticatedly hidden inside a phone charger, where the electrical circuit had been removed to create a secret space.
At the time of the arrest, the young man also had around 1 euros in cash, which were suspected to have been obtained from illegal activity. Police seized both the narcotics and the amount of money.
By order of the Forlì Prosecutor's Office, the 23-year-old was held in detention cells until the court session. The Forlì Court confirmed the arrest and, after an agreement for a shortened trial, sentenced the Albanian to two years in prison.
