Zayn Malik has decided to cancel his upcoming US solo tour, as well as two UK shows, after a photo of him from the hospital was released. He stressed that he is fine and recovering at home.

The former One Direction singer announced to his fans via Instagram that he has been forced to change his schedule for the coming months, explaining that he will reduce the number of shows on the Konnakol tour in order to return to the stage in better conditions.

Through an "Instagram Story" published on Friday, May 1, he thanked the public for their support, love and wishes for his health, writing: "I have felt your love and it means everything to me. I am recovering at home, I am fine and I will come back stronger and better than before."

He then added: "I have had to review my schedule once again for the coming months and reduce the number of shows on the Konnakol tour. I want to make sure I can get out and meet as many of you as possible."
Although the singer has not explained the reason for the cancellations, a few days ago it was reported that he had recently been hospitalized, while a photo of him from there had circulated on the internet.

The “Konnakol” tour, which takes its name from his new album, was originally scheduled to include 31 concerts around the world, starting on May 12 in Manchester. It is now expected to start on May 23, with just nine performances.
Malik will hold his first UK concert at London's O2 on May 23, followed by a performance in Manchester a day later.

Meanwhile, shows in Glasgow, Birmingham and Dublin have been cancelled, while concerts planned in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Brazil are expected to go ahead as normal.
