Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Kiev is ready to participate in any format of negotiations that could lead to a diplomatic solution to the conflict.
In a statement to the media, Zelensky said that communication with representatives of US President Donald Trump is ongoing and that daily contacts with Washington are of particular importance.
"We are in daily contact with President Trump's representatives, and this is important," the Ukrainian leader said.
He announced that during the meeting in Washington, discussions were held on creating new conditions that would enable a real diplomatic process.
Zelensky stressed that Ukraine remains open to all forms of meetings and negotiations, while expressing the expectation that representatives of the US administration, including Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, will further engage in diplomatic efforts during August.
The Ukrainian president added that Kiev is continuing cooperation with other international partners, especially with the Gulf countries, which, according to him, can play a role in supporting Ukraine's diplomatic efforts and security needs.
