The Ukrainian Defense Forces have thwarted a strategic offensive operation by the Russian Army.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on his Telegram channel.

"I want to thank our servicemen who defended Ukrainian positions and destroyed enemy forces. The Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped the strategic offensive operation planned by the Russian Federation for March of this year. Although attacks and strikes continue, their intensity and scale are not as planned by the Russian Armed Forces," the post reads.

According to Zelensky, the Russian Army is concentrating its forces more intensively in the Zaporozhye direction: “The Russian Army is trying to increase its forces there, but we are destroying them.”
