Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was awarded the Ewald von Kleist Prize at the Munich Security Conference.

"Thank you for this award to the Ukrainian people - an award of Ukrainian strength and our friendship," he said at the X.

“Friendship to all of you. Without friendship, strength is never enough.”

The Ukrainian president added that his country "works hard to build at least mutual understanding, mutual respect and fair treatment of everyone."

It is an honor for me to receive the Ewald von Kleist Award, which this year has been awarded to the Ukrainian people.
