DP MP Saimir Korreshi raised concerns about the Lushnja hospital from the parliament's rostrum. In the requested interpellation with the Minister of Health, Evis Sala, Korreshi demanded an account of the situation at this hospital.
He also showed the breakfast menu that patients at this hospital have.
"Good morning! Good morning, Madam Minister, I hope you had breakfast. It shows a photo, a glass of yogurt and a piece of bread. In the kitchen there is a nurse who works as a cook. They say they did an audit. It was verified that the conditions of the goods in the warehouse, the cooking, were inappropriate, increasing the risk of cooking. Why did you move the old Lushnja hospital building 8 months ago to a building with a restaurant and did not finish the new building. Why don't you come after so long, hand in hand, so that we can visit the hospital premises. What work do the ministers of Health do? Do they get on the plane or should they inspect the hospitals?! There is a lack of alcohol, gloves. The doctor says to the nurse; pour the alcohol. The nurse comes around and makes it with water. And the doctor says; why does the smell of water come? Why has the smell of alcohol gone?", he said.
