The next plenary session in the Assembly has begun. What is striking is the fact that the Agenda does not include the immunity of Belinda Balluku, following the SPAK request for her arrest. Previously, sources from the majority indicated that the session where the vote regarding the immunity of the MP was to be held was the one on March 5.
From a procedural point of view, without a position from the Assembly within 3 months of the submission of the request by the Special Prosecution, the request is considered automatically rejected. We recall that the SPAK request was made on December 16, so the deadline ends on March 16. Meanwhile, it is expected that the new ministers will be decreed today after the changes in the government.
The session begins with a question-and-answer session with the Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro, requested by MP Erion Braçe. Afterwards, the MPs will hold a question-and-answer session with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Andis Salla, also at the request of MP Erion Braçe. Next, the Parliament will consider the draft law for additions to the law 'On the pre-university education system in the Republic of Albania', as amended", an initiative of MP Evis Kushi.
