The 36th and final week of the regular season of the "Abissnet Superiore" championship has ended, determining all the verdicts of this edition.
Vllaznia ended the regular season in first place with 63 points, after a 2-0 win over Flamurtari and a 1-3 loss to AF Elbasan against Tirana. The Shkodra team thus secured the lead, while AF Elbasan finished the championship in second place with 62 points.
The triumph over AF Elbasan also gave Tirana the opportunity to secure their stay in the "Abissnet Superiore" for the next season.
In other meetings last week, Partizan won 2-1 against Dinamo City, while Teuta triumphed 3-2 against Egnatia.
Vora recorded an important 5-2 victory over Bylis, securing their place in the Albanian football elite.
The four teams that have secured participation in the “Final Four” phase are Vllaznia, AF Elbasani, Egnatia and Dinamo City. According to the regulations, the points accumulated during the regular season will be halved and the four teams will face each other in six matches, which will take place at the “Air Albania” stadium, to determine the champion team of the 2025-2026 season.
At the bottom of the standings, Bylis and Flamurtari closed the championship in 9th and 10th place, dropping to the "First Category" for the next season.
Teuta ranked eighth and will play the play-out final for a place in the "Abissnet Superiore" against the winner of the Pogradeci - Besa pair.
