A road accident was recorded in the center of Fier-Shegan, where two vehicles collided head-on, injuring one person.
According to preliminary information, a Toyota and a Skoda were involved in the incident. As a result of the collision, the driver of the Toyota was injured and was urgently transported for medical assistance.
The Emergency Medical Service immediately arrived at the scene, along with the Albanian Traffic Police, who secured the area and began documenting the accident.
According to initial police reports, it is suspected that one of the vehicles performed an overtaking maneuver on a dangerous section of the road, which led to the severe collision.
Authorities report that the injured person is out of danger, while only material damage has been recorded.
The Lushnje-Berat road axis, which passes through residential areas, remains a problematic segment where accidents are frequently reported, according to the traffic police. Investigations into the full circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
