The Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction has upheld the security measure of "prison arrest" for Elisabeta Mataj, the former director of the Durrës Post Office.
Mataj is accused of embezzling around 700 million lek. Meanwhile, two of her former subordinates, Paola Danaj and Valbona Duni, have been placed under house arrest.
The Appeals Court decision confirms the security measures imposed on the three defendants, while investigations into the case continue.
